Lastest Travel Insurance Over 80 newsMay 2010 Travel insurance premiums still high for the over 80s More and more travel insurance companies are finally catering to the over 80 age group which is good but the downside is that premiums still remain high for this age group. Increased medical costs and likelihood of falling ill is still the number one reason why this is happening. It is hoped that as more and more insurers come on board the competition will drive prices down for pensioners heading abroad. Sept 2009 Older Travellers, particularly those ove the age of 80 once had a real tough time finding travel insurance providers to cover them but this is definitely changing now. More and more providers are recognising the growing numbers of pensioners that are heading overseas on holidays and they are finally providing them with sensible cover at not too high price, unlike before when it was very expensive for older people to travel. |
